Follow the river bank past fish farms and bamboo fish traps, and stop where carpenters build wooden fishing boats.

Who This Tour Is For – and Who Should Choose Another
Ideal for: history lovers, couples and families who want countryside, crafts and a World Heritage site in one day, with transport that is half the fun.
Consider another option if:
- You want to see My Son at sunrise, before the crowds – ask us for a private early departure by car.
- You prefer a half day – choose the Hoi An Vespa Countryside Morning Tour (same villages, no My Son).
- You are pregnant or have back or neck problems – about 80 km by scooter in a day is not recommended.

Local Expert Notes by Jimmy
- Bring water, a hat and sunscreen – My Son is hot and has little shade in the middle of the day.
- Dress respectfully and wear closed shoes for the uneven paths between the temples.
- Read before you go: our My Son Sanctuary guide explains the temple groups and their history.
- Weather: February to April is the most pleasant time to ride; May to August is hot, so morning and late-afternoon tours are more comfortable; from October to December heavy rain and floods are possible, and tours may be moved to another day.
- New addresses: since 1 July 2025 Hoi An and My Son are part of Da Nang city after the merger with the former Quang Nam province, so you may see “Da Nang” on hotel and ticket addresses.
