Ideal for: travellers with only a morning or afternoon free, first-timers on a scooter and families who want a short, easy ride.

Local Expert Notes by Jimmy
- Best times: early morning or late afternoon – cooler, softer light and fewer crowds in town.
- Old Town ticket: visitors walking into the Old Town need an entrance ticket (VND 120,000 for international visitors in 2026); this short ride stays mainly outside the ticketed streets.
- Wear closed shoes and bring sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Weather: February to April is the most pleasant time to ride; May to August is hot, so morning and late-afternoon tours are more comfortable; from October to December heavy rain and floods are possible, and tours may be moved to another day.
- New addresses: since 1 July 2025 Hoi An and My Son are part of Da Nang city after the merger with the former Quang Nam province, so you may see “Da Nang” on hotel and ticket addresses.
