  • Food lovers: the after-dark tours in Hanoi and Saigon, the foodie tours, or the Hoi An night street food tour.
  • Countryside: the Hanoi full day, the Saigon Mekong villages ride, or the Hoi An morning and afternoon village tours.
  • History: Hoi An villages and My Son Sanctuary.
  • Travelling Hoi An – Hue: the Hai Van Pass ride, which also works as your transfer.

Tips by Jimmy

  • Quote the tour code when you book – it helps us confirm the right tour and price quickly.
  • Wear closed shoes, and clothes that cover shoulders and knees for temples and pagodas.
  • In the rainy season, morning tours are usually drier in the south; in central Vietnam heavy rain and floods are most likely from October to December.
  • Come hungry to the food tours – the tastings add up to a full meal.

Frequently Asked Questions about Vietnam Vespa Tours
1. What is a Vespa tour in Vietnam?

A guided tour in which you ride as a passenger on a vintage Vespa driven by an experienced rider, with an English-speaking guide. It is a safe, fun way to see city backstreets, food stalls and villages that buses cannot reach.

2. Where can I take a Vespa tour in Vietnam?

We run Vespa tours in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Hoi An. See Hanoi Vespa Tours, Saigon Vespa Tours and Hoi An Vespa Tours.

3. How much does a Vespa tour cost?

From US$53 per person for the 2.5-hour Glimpse of Hoi An. Most half-day city, food and countryside tours cost US$72–93 per person in a small group; full days cost US$107 (Hanoi) and US$93 (Hoi An to My Son), and the one-way Hoi An to Hue ride costs US$167.

4. Do I need a driving licence?

No. You ride as a passenger behind an experienced driver, one guest per scooter, so no licence is needed.

5. Is a Vespa tour safe?

The drivers ride these routes every day, full-face helmets are provided and the pace is gentle. Tell your guide if you would like the driver to slow down.

6. Which Vespa tour should I choose?

For a first visit, choose a city highlights tour; for food, an after-dark or foodie tour; for fresh air, a countryside tour. In Hoi An, the My Son day trip adds a UNESCO site, and the Hai Van Pass ride doubles as your transfer to Hue.

7. Can I combine Vespa tours in different cities?

Yes. Many travellers do a city tour in Hanoi, a night food tour in Hoi An and a countryside tour in Saigon. We can book all of them in one plan with your hotels and transfers.

8. Can children join a Vespa tour?

Usually yes, if they can sit safely behind a driver and wear a helmet. Ask about minimum age and child prices on the contact page.
