Vietnam Vespa Tours: Hanoi, Saigon and Hoi An from the Back of a Vintage Vespa
Vietnam Vespa tours are guided rides on the back of a classic Vespa, with an experienced driver for every guest and an English-speaking guide. We run 15 Vespa tours in three cities – 5 in Hanoi, 4 in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and 6 in Hoi An – from city highlights and street food after dark to countryside villages, My Son Sanctuary and a one-way ride over the Hai Van Pass to Hue. Prices start from US$53 per person, with hotel pick-up included.
Hanoi: 5 tours – city highlights, food, after dark and a full day with the countryside.
Hanoi Vespa Tours.
Saigon: 4 tours – city, food, after dark with live music and the Mekong countryside.
Saigon Vespa Tours.
Hoi An: 6 tours – villages, night food, My Son and the Hai Van Pass.
Hoi An Vespa Tours.
Good to know: you ride as a passenger – no licence needed. Each tour has a code (e.g. VTE-HA108) to quote when you book.
Good to know (2026): all prices are per person in US dollars and include the Vespa with driver, full-face helmet, English-speaking guide, food or lunch as listed and hotel pick-up in the city centre. Since July 2025 Hoi An and My Son are part of Da Nang city, and Ho Chi Minh City uses wards instead of districts.

How to Choose a Vespa Tour
- First time in the city: the Insider’s tours in Hanoi and Saigon, or A Glimpse of Hoi An.
- Food lovers: the after-dark tours in Hanoi and Saigon, the foodie tours, or the Hoi An night street food tour.
- Countryside: the Hanoi full day, the Saigon Mekong villages ride, or the Hoi An morning and afternoon village tours.
- History: Hoi An villages and My Son Sanctuary.
- Travelling Hoi An – Hue: the Hai Van Pass ride, which also works as your transfer.
Tips by Jimmy
- Quote the tour code when you book – it helps us confirm the right tour and price quickly.
- Wear closed shoes, and clothes that cover shoulders and knees for temples and pagodas.
- In the rainy season, morning tours are usually drier in the south; in central Vietnam heavy rain and floods are most likely from October to December.
- Come hungry to the food tours – the tastings add up to a full meal.
