Nha Trang Cruises 2026–2027: Bay Day Cruises and Sunset Dinner Cruises
A Nha Trang Bay cruise is the easiest way to see the islands, fishing villages and clear water off Vietnam’s beach capital in a single day or evening. Vietnam Tour Expert offers the two ships of Emperor Cruises (Lux Cruises Group): the traditional wooden junk Emperor Cruises Origin and the modern three-deck Emperor Cruises Legend. Both sail a 7-hour day cruise from US$73 per adult and a sunset cocktail and seafood dinner cruise from US$90, with free hotel pick-up in central Nha Trang.
- Day cruise (08:00–15:00): Hon Tam and Hon Mot islands, a fish farm by basket boat, Soi Beach for swimming, kayaking and snorkelling, and a seafood lunch near Hon Tre Island.
- Sunset dinner cruise (15:35–20:30): cocktails and canapés at sunset, live music and a five-course seafood dinner with free-flow drinks.
- Private charters for birthdays, weddings, proposals and company events.
- Booked with a licensed local operator since 2012 – clear prices, quick replies and help with the rest of your Vietnam trip.

Good to know (2026): prices are reference fares per adult in US dollars and are confirmed for your date before you pay; children under 5 travel free and children 5–11 pay a child fare. A 20% surcharge applies on Vietnamese public holidays, 24–25 and 31 December and Tet. From about October to December, rain and rough seas can cause cruises to be rescheduled for safety.

How to Choose Your Nha Trang Cruise
- For photos and romance: the Origin junk under its orange sails, ideally on the sunset cruise.
- For space and families: the Legend, with a panoramic restaurant, the Majesty Lounge & Bar and the Moon Bar on the top deck.
- For the beach and snorkelling: either ship’s day cruise – Soi Beach, kayaks and snorkelling kit are included.
- For a celebration: the sunset dinner cruise, or a private charter of the whole ship.
Nha Trang Bay: What You See From the Water
Nha Trang Bay is dotted with islands a short sail from the city. The day cruises pass Hon Tam Island and Hon Mot, visit a fish farm in a floating village, stop at Soi Beach and anchor near the lagoon of Hon Tre, the largest island in the bay, home to VinWonders Nha Trang. On the way back you pass the Vung Ngan floating village and the Bao Dai Villas on the shore. For snorkelling over coral, add a trip to Hon Mun Island, Vietnam’s first marine protected area.
Best Time for a Nha Trang Cruise
Cruises run all year. February to August brings the calmest seas and most sunshine; September is changeable, and October to December is the rainy season, when strong winds can stop boats leaving port. Sunset falls between about 17:15 and 18:15 depending on the season, which is why the evening cruise sails at about 16:30.

Tips by Jimmy
- Quote the cruise code (VTE-ECO or VTE-ECL) when you book – it helps us confirm the right ship and programme quickly.
- Do the day cruise early in your stay; if the sea is too rough, there is time to reschedule.
- Bring Vietnamese dong for optional beach activities, plus a swimsuit, hat and sunscreen.
- Celebrating something? Tell us in advance and we pass your request on to the crew.
- Arriving from Cam Ranh airport? It is about 40 minutes to the city – we can arrange your transfer and hotel too.
